Liam is famous!

A month ago I took a cute picture of Liam in the Dash and posted it on the Phil&Teds facebook page. They asked if they could use it on their website. I forgot all about it until I checked out the chatterbox page on the p&t site. Look who greeted me!

Also noted on the Phil and Teds site today is the release of the Verve stroller! As always they have taken an amazing product and made it even better. I cannot tell you how much I want to just TRY one of these beauties! If you have a second(or first!) baby coming soon, please check this stroller out... and then let me take it for a spin!

phil&ted dash and explorer side by side review

I was so excited to get the Explorer and the Dash side by side for a review! So Jodi and I met up and put them through their paces.

Almost everything I don't like about my Dash has been changed on the Explorer.

The cushion is much better because it is firmer and does not flop forward, the sun shade is a follow the sun shade instead of a shade that is buttoned on, there are pockets on the shade, there is a shade on the second seat, the handle is adjustable and you can fold it from the middle with one hand!

The brake is now on the rear axle, which can be a problem if the second seat is on but they made it flip flop friendly and seems like it would be easy to work even with the doubles kit on. I hate the brake on the Dash because you have to tilt the handle down to engage the brake and if you have drinks in the cup holder(I use the BOB cupholder and love it), they will spill on the child in the second seat.

I have had my Dash for a year and I really do love it. Even though the Explorer is supposed to be a step down from the Dash, I think the Explorer is much better. It is refined and tweaked in a way that makes it much more user friendly.

A few more improvements I would like to see phil&teds make:
* a better bumper bar with an incorporated cup holder.
* make the bumper bar so it can swing out. Once my son could crawl in and out of the stroller on his own we had to take the bar off and leave it in the garage because it was too much of a pain to remove.
* make the fold down lock easier. I havent been able to lock my Dash when it is folded since I first got it. I have no clue why so I stopped trying.

With all of that, it is and will always be my favorite stroller. It has a great drive and turning radius. My kids love it and we get compliments everywhere we go, it is just the perfect stroller for me!

My favorite things

Over the 3 years of my journey of motherhood, I have had the chance to try some pretty cool baby things. Here are a list of some of my favorites!

Confession... I have a stroller obsession. When my first was born it was REALLY bad! I have owned way too many strollers and one day I will confess all but for now I will tell you that after MUCH research I now have only two strollers!

My Phil and Ted's Dash is freaking amazing. It is a inline double stroller. It looks like a standard jogging stroller but then you add the jump seat and BAM it is the best to drive double ever. There are MANY seat positions to try and I have tried them all! Since we live smack dab in the middle of every cool theme park in Florida, we end up in a theme park a few times a month so this stroller has seen some miles.

My Mia Moda Ceilo stroller is my James Bond stroller. It folds up to the size of a briefcase and is a great alternative to an umbrella stroller. Arm rests, cargo bag, five point harness and a recline make this a great single stroller.

American Country wet bag
How cute it this? The zipper keeps the stink in when you are on the go. When I am not using it, I can roll it up and stash it in the corner of my bag

Rumparooz wet bag
Since we live in a 2 story home, I keep this wet bag hanging on my stairs and just carry it up with me every night so my diapers can soak over night. It zips too and I have never smelled an errant poop from it

This Tiny Love 3 in 1 mobil goes everywhere! On the side of the bassinet, in the stroller, car seat... you name it and this mobil can do it. The batteries last FOREVER!

Baby Legs
Most of the time we have pretty warm weather so these babylegs are great to team up with a tshirt. My son is an expert sock kicker offer but these babylegs can be pulled down over his toes and never be kicked off!
